Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is an Canadian actor from Canada. Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Born in Winnipeg but brought up in Wellington the city where she was born, she had her first appearance as an actor on screen in The Piano. In this romantic drama, she was eleven years of age, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin spelled out Anna Helene Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada on the 24th July of 1982. She is a Canadian-born New Zealander actress. In 1993 she won her first Academy Award at age 11 for playing the inquisitive and talkative girl who is the daughter that was Holly Hunter who played the main role. Paquin played Frankie Addams as a child in the television version of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. Paquin played Queen of Spain, in Steven Spielbergs 1997 feature film Amistad. She played teenagers on Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000) and A Walk on the Moon (2000). She played the role of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa on Almost Famous (2000).
