StephanieStephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her most famous role was Miss Bala (2011), a Mexican crime-drama film. She was also seen in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman was a prominent character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both of the series. Sigman was born to the family of a Mexican mom and an American dad, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. Through her father, she is legally a U.S. citizen. [2][3][4] Her brother was a professional baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was earlier married to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career in the field of Mexican television, and later made her debut on film in Rio de Oro. She played the principal role in Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala) in the film, which is a Mexican crime drama. The film was selected for consideration as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Award, but it was not on the final cut. [9] Sigman was awarded a Dublin Film Critics Circle Award for her performance as film critic in 2011. [10][11] The following year, she played Catalina Aguado in the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer which was which was a Norwegian thriller.
