
Ky-mani is on the rise with his third and untitled album. Ky-mani Marley was the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) and Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). He was born on the 26th of February, 1976 in Falmouth. East African words for Ky-mani translate to adventurer. Being an East African man, his album and his travels represent an adventure. The Journey, his musical journey, began in the year 1999. His eclectic vision allowed Ky-Mani to seek out his niche and explore his various talents. In 2001, Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) A "traditional" reggae album was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey were well-received worldwide. This solidified Ky-mani's status as an independent artist. Ky-Mani's musical style is one of roots reggae overlaid and hip-hop R&B as well as contemporary jazz.
